As a lifelong Harlingen resident, dedicated community advocate, and experienced leader, Bekah is committed to ensuring every student in HCISD receives a high-quality education, every teacher is supported, and every family is engaged in the learning process.
Her mission is to strengthen HCISD through:
Academic Excellence – Enhancing curriculum and ensuring students are prepared for success.

With a proven record of leadership and governance, Bekah is ready to bring effective oversight, thoughtful decision-making, and a deep passion for education and our community to the HCISD School Board. She will work tirelessly to empower students, support educators, and strengthen schools for the future of Harlingen.

Every dollar should directly benefit students and classrooms. I will advocate for responsible budgeting, reduced waste, and strategic resource allocation to maximize educational impact while keeping schools financially strong.

Families in Harlingen should feel confident that their children are safe at school. I will advocate for improved campus security and anti-bullying initiatives to create a safe and welcoming environment for all students.

Our teachers are the backbone of our schools, and they deserve support. I will fight for better pay, more classroom resources, and professional development opportunities to ensure we attract and retain the best educators for Harlingen students.

Students and teachers in Harlingen face real mental health challenges. I will work to expand access to counselors, mental health programs, and wellness initiatives, ensuring our schools provide the support needed for success both in and out of the classroom.
